I Love this picture.
The kind that makes you smile and cry at the same time.
I am really into Nirvana at the moment and stumbled across this picture.

My Dream

But all I know is I was on the subway. With Karl Lagerfield, watching him do stuff on a blog. He had his arm around me. The reason I don't remember much is probably because I passedout/died.
I MEAAN C'MON WHO WOULDN'T?

Some Karl Lagerfield 2010

I have alsways been fasinated by Karl Lagerfield even before I really got into fashion.
He just really struck me as an interesting character. Through his look I think mostly. But also just the whole way in which he presents himself. He was also always very outspoken and talked about.

I LOVE LOVE

Okay so for school we have been told to try and get a work experience placement.
I being an addict an'all tried to get myself a placement at my favourite magazine
LOVE magazine

THEY GOT BACK TO ME!!!
Nothing necessarily will come of it but I am hopeful.
Although I feel awful possibly coming across as a tad informal and possibly on the slight side as in polite.
Totally burst into tears when they said that. But hey. I'm dying for this possibly my ways of contact wasn't the best, and probably got a bit too emotional.
But at least they picked up on my enthusiasm.

Love magazine is such a great magazine. With an ace editor of Katie Grand.
They were never going to go wrong. There first magazine was well publisized and was anything if eye catching. They have managed to create something different and something I feel special. It is a fashion magazine with a twist something more personall but very high end.
It is bi anual for SS and AW.

Issue 1 Love Magazine.

I think I might buy Vogue December.

IF THIS IS WHATS IN IT!!!!!!
Lily Cole - who is my best friend seeing as I brushed her hip in NY - What? She is tall VERY TALL
Andrew Garlfield and Gaga.
Okay names don't mean much but Hansel and Gretel does.
One of my favourite childhood stories, terrifying but OMAAAZINNG
Specially the candy house with the wicked witch, that you always try and make at Christmas with your ikea set, which always has one piece missing and that makes you sad and cry but then you remember all the yums and cheer up.
YES I DO LOVE IT.
If your wondering I mean all, The story, the shoot and CHRISSTMASS
Favourite picture is the one with the tree men, totally genius if you ask me.
I love the wonderful and the weird.
Like a fairytale circus.
Definitely on the Christmas list this one. D E F I N I T E L Y.

No no no no cry cry cry.

Today is a sad sad day.
The recession has hit again.

RIP Luella Bartley Ltd
"The closure last month of Luella's Italian production company, Carla Carini, meant that orders for the label's spring/summer 2010 collection could not be fulfilled – and so the Singapore-based company in charge of distributing Bartley's clothing and accessories, VSQ, announced that it had "reluctantly" decided to withdraw its backing. Five people in her design studio and 13 in distribution face losing their jobs."
NOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Hopefully they will get other financial backing, she is amazing, her collections where magical I loved 2010 polka dots fluffy dresses and heart cut outs.

Male Fashion

Extreme Male fashion more like
It is officially one of my new unhealthy obsessions.
Not just like any old, but like extreme.
When you see male catwalks a lot of what you see is men in suits,
or men in underwear.

THIS IS WHAT I WANT TO SEE

I am so happy to see at least some designers are branching out and putting men in as amazing clothes as you would put women, this Galliano collection was unbelievable, so extreme it almost pains me to look at. For some reason you feel this is a very aggressive collection and almost makes you want to look away but seriously you can't tell me this does not work?

OR THIS

Yes I admit very cliche to put a man in a dress but MAAAN this worked.
I loved these pictures because I felt although they put men in very feminine outfits they didn't do anything to the men themselves to make them look more like women.
So literally just putting men in a dress.

I was so unbelievably excited when I heard about the new man tights fad.
Then almost died when I heard Mark Jacobs might be coming out with a mini skirt... FOR MEN

I am a convert to extreme male fashion.
NEVER GOING BACK.

Totally found the most inspiring people EVERR

Through browsing and generall nosyness
I have managed to come across other bloggers.
Possibly the most inspiring and creative people you could come across.
so many lovely people, i'm really proud to be part of the blogging community.

Luella

So many things to blog about what to do?!

Totally stumbled across this
BUT
The sky is certainly not the limit.
Specially for Risto Bimbiloski
With his beyond amazing lightning bolt knitted dresses and body suits and leggings.
TOTALLY IN LOVE
This collection is amazing.
How you can create knit work so fine it look like the picture was printed is beyond me. But somehow he managed it!!!!

The body suit and dress just talk for themself, they are so beautiful, and the lightning print is so bold. But strangely frightning. Is that just me? They are such statement pieces

Dress below loved the contrast of both colours.
Kind of like posotive and negative.

DID THEY STOP THERE?!
No. No he decided not only to go further in fashion but also further out in the universe!

ONLY NEBULA DRESSES!!!!!

Okay I seriously need to stop with these capitals
BUT THEY REALLY GET THE FEELING ACROSS
Who would think of such a genius idea to put REAL stars on a dress.
Generally think Nebula's are stunning and I look at stars often, so to have this on a dress is mindblowingly perfect.

Wonderland.

Two films I could not live without.
They are so magical to watch.
They take you to your own little wonderland.

Let them eat cake

There never was a story of more woe than that of Juliet and her Romeo.
You actually just can't go wrong with Shakespeare and Lurhmann.

Other films I love.
Girl Interrupted
American Beauty
This is England
Moulin Rouge
Billy Elliot
Pulp Fiction
Donny Darko
Brokback mountain
The Reader
I've loved you so long
Breakfast at tiffany's
Fight Club
Oldboy
Sweeney todd
Whats eating Gilbert Grape
Alie in wonderland

So many to watch, so many to look foreward too.

Tim Walker.
I think is possibly the most inspiring man EVER.
He makes life look beautiful.

YEAHS

YEAHS

YEAHS

His book is on my christmas list, he is in my bookmarks bar, and on my walls.
SAFE TO SAY IT'S LOVE RIGGGHHHT
He creates fairytales for your eyes to dream.
and makes you want to be a part of his magical lands.
Making swans with card and fairy lights or tying your bed to trees.
he makes the impossible possible and likes cocaine cocktails.
Shoots for VOGUE and grows a garden in a bath
When I first came across him was in his book, after the Hussian Chalyan exhabition.
Possibly one of the best days ever, his book blew me away.
Keeping him secret being the only way to keep him as my own.
Inspiring me to try and look at things in a different way, look at things for their beauty.

Twins much?

Is it only me or did the
AMAZING Celine collection and 3.1 Phillip Lim collection
have damm similar peices.
Maybe just me.

Phillip Lim was good I liked it, but didn't love, nothing mindblowing there, also really bad I know but when looking at the collection all I saw were bits from other previous shows by other designers, I saw a bit of Burberry a bit of Stella Mccartney a bit of chanel a bit of pringle and most obviously a bit of Celine. And although obviously this isnt the case but unfortunatley that is what I immediately thought.

CELINE KILLED IT
Possibly one of the most clean cut collections.
Simplistic minimalist vomit coloured clothes
with the moast amazing use of leather I have ever seen.
I was totally blown away, LOVED IT
The leather wedges where the cherry on top, making each look that much better.
THUMBS UPPP.

But yeah twins much?
